Privacy Policy

The short version

Every AgeCountLab calculator runs in your browser. The dates and names you type into calculators are processed on your device and are not sent to our servers.

Information stored on your device

To save you retyping, your browser stores the last date of birth you entered in "local storage", so other calculators can fill it in. Some calculators also keep a short history of recent results in the same place. This data never leaves your device. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Contact form

When you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent to us through Web3Forms, a form delivery service, and arrive in our email inbox. We use them only to answer you and keep the conversation for as long as it is useful, then delete it. You can also email hello@agecountlab.com directly.

Fonts

The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore contacts Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details as part of that request.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like most hosts, Vercel automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and reliability. These logs never contain the dates you enter into calculators.

Analytics and advertising

AgeCountLab does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add such services, we will update this policy to name them and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.

Children

AgeCountLab is a general-audience website and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, which in practice means contact-form messages. Email us and we will act on your request.
