Age in days means the number of full days between your date of birth and a chosen date, usually today. It is your chronological age written in a single unit instead of years, months and days. How to Calculate Your Age in Days

How Leap Years Affect Your Age in Days
Each leap year you live through adds 1 day to your age in days. A leap year has 366 days instead of 365, with the extra day on February 29. Leap years come every 4 years, except century years that are not divisible by 400: 2000 was a leap year, and 1900 and 2100 are not.
Someone born on 27 July 1988 missed February 29, 1988 by 5 months. By 28 July 2022 they had lived through 8 February 29s, which is why 34 × 365 falls 9 days short of 12,419.

Excel treats 1900 as a leap year, a known quirk kept for compatibility with Lotus 1-2-3. Day differences between dates after March 1, 1900 are still right.
